Private insurance denials

You can appeal a denial of coverage by a private insurance company and you don't have to give up if your appeal is denied. This section also talks about a law that governs what mental health services some - but not all - private insurers must provide.

Remember:

An insurance company never has to pay for a service that is not "medically necessary."
