Produced by Attorney Mariah Jennings-Rampsi for MassLegalHelp

All your Bankruptcy forms need to be complete and filled in correctly. You need to file them at the right court. If you do not do these things:

  • The court may not approve your bankruptcy.
  • Your case could be dismissed.
  • Or you can lose important legal rights, lose property or lose the right to get rid of judgment liens.

Filing without a lawyer

  • Bankruptcy is complicated. Filing without a lawyer is risky.
  • You can lose property and money. You can go to jail if you do not tell the truth.
