On March 10, Governor Charlie Baker declared a State of Emergency to give government services and agencies more flexibility to respond to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.

Massachusetts legal aid programs are still helping clients during the COVID-19 emergency. But offices are not open for the public to walk in. If you need help phone or contact your local legal aid program online.

The courts and many agencies have changed the way they deliver or provide services to you. We have summarized major changes you need to be aware of. But procedures are changing daily so please follow the links to external pages in each section to be sure you get the latest information.
