The FoodSource Hotline

Produced by Project Bread
Reviewed August 2011

To find food resources in your community, call the FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333.

Project Bread's toll-free FoodSource Hotline is the only information and referral service in Massachusetts for people facing hunger.

The toll-free Hotline responds to more than 35,000 calls a year from people across Massachusetts struggling to feed their families. FoodSource Hotline counselors refer callers to food resources in their communities as well as information about SNAP/Food Stamps and other nutrition programs.

The FoodSource Hotline can help hungry families in 160 languages - from Arabic to Cambodian, Russian to Vietnamese.  This special service links callers with a translator, usually within 30 seconds.

The FoodSource Hotline is also able to serve deaf callers through it's TTY line, 1-800-377-1292.

These services are available to all Massachusetts residents.
